Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp Orianthi's Lavender Vodka
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Orianthi’s Lavender Vodka
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in lemon zest and lavender vodka, then alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk until combined.
- Stir in lemon juice, then pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool, then whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cake.
